For a really long time now (I'm actually not sure how long) the price of becoming a Premium member has been a measly $3/month - less than a carton of milk, less than a cup of coffee, less than a pack of gum... But the times they are a-changing, inflation is taking its toll, and it has come time for the price to go up. 😊 Note that the price you lock in now is for life! In all honesty, though, the real reason for the price increase is Growth Boost. This top 1% community gets almost no ad time as far as I can tell, and they only reason I can think of is that the price is too cheap for Skool to make its ad spend back. What that means is that tons of Skoolers who could be benefiting from this community simply don't know about it. I have said again and again that I don't think it's wise to make business decisions based on Growth Boost, but I also just think increasing the price is a wise business decision as well. It is time. There are so many benefits to becoming a Premium member, that I really hope more of you take advantage of it. For all the details, check out this post. So, what will the new price be? Are you ready for it? You might want to sit down. As of September 1, the cost of becoming a Premium member will be $5/month. 😱 So, if you've been sitting on this and hemming and hawing, now is the time! Oh and tell your friends. Friends don't let friends Skool alone! 😉

HOW IT WORKS - READ THIS FIRST
Ever wonder how you can let people know about your Skool community? Feel like you have so much to offer but don't know how to get people involved? Wish there was somewhere you were actually allowed to promote yourself and talk about your offer? Look no further! The Skool Classifieds are the place where you are not only allowed to promote yourself, but you are actually encouraged to do so! Like the Classifieds section of your local newspaper or the Community Message Board at the gym, this is the place to let people know what you do and what you offer. Here's how it works: 1. Invite other Skoolers you know to join the group using your invite link. The more people join, the more people there are to promote to! 2. You can post once a day only. This is to keep the group from getting spammy. If it's spammy, people won't read and you won't get noticed. Post as many days in a row as you want, but please do not post the same thing day after day - mix it up! 3. Make sure you add your post to the appropriate group/heading. Please see below for a description of what each group is for. If you don't see a group that is appropriate, message me. 4. Self-Promotion is what this group is all about, but please do not DM people with your offers. You will be removed from the group for doing this. 5. Introduce yourself in this thread, and then scroll up and find someone you have something in common with. Reach out. There are some really amazing people here! 😉 This is a place for us to support each other for our mutual benefit. Hate speech, offensive language, or general negativity will be deleted, and you will be removed from the group. *Please check out this post for more tips on how to get great results from your posts. And also this post by one of our own community members who has had great success growing his group through the CLASSIFIEDS. To learn How to Make Your Classifeds' Posts Work Harder for You, check out this masterclass by one of our moderators, @Faith Adebayo

21 Days to Take Back Control of Sugar — Join the First 20
Sugar 101 What Actually Is Sugar? Most people hear "sugar" and picture the white stuff in a bowl. But sugar is much broader than that — and your body doesn't treat all types the same way. There are two categories that matter: Naturally occurring sugar is found in whole foods like fruit and dairy. It comes packaged with fiber, water, vitamins, and minerals that slow down absorption. Your body handles this well. Added sugar is sugar that's been extracted, processed, and added to foods during manufacturing. It's been stripped of everything that would slow it down — so it hits your system fast. This is the type driving the problems most people experience. Not all added sugars behave the same way either. Glucose — your body's preferred fuel — can be used by every cell in your body. Fructose is a different story. Unlike glucose, fructose is primarily metabolized by your liver — meaning most of it goes straight there to be processed. This is where high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS) enters the picture. HFCS is one of the most widely used sweeteners in processed foods because it's cheap to produce and extends shelf life. It's in soft drinks, breads, cereals, condiments, snack bars — the list is long. Here's the problem: when your liver receives more fructose than it can handle — which happens easily when HFCS is in so many everyday foods — it starts converting the excess into fat. Research suggests this process may contribute to fat buildup around the liver and increased fat storage overall, even independent of total calorie intake. Evolutionarily, humans were simply not exposed to the levels of isolated fructose present in today's food supply — and high intakes are strongly linked to increased liver fat. The World Health Organization recommends keeping added sugar to less than 10% of your total daily energy intake — and suggests even greater benefits at 5% or less. That works out to roughly 25 grams, or about 6 teaspoons per day. In many countries, average intakes sit well above that — often double the WHO's target. Most people have no idea they're that far over.

Your Brand Shouldn’t Need its Logo to be Recognizable…
It’s weird how quickly you can tell when somebody made a marketing image because they liked it… versus because a template told them to. One feels like a real business. The other feels like it could belong to literally anybody 😬 That’s a huge part of why I started Defunk’d Design. I wanted somewhere people could get honest feedback on the images they were already making instead of collecting another folder full of templates they’ll never quite make their own. The next 7 people who join on the Standard Annual plan are getting a custom Skool group card/Discovery banner from me too, so if yours has been hanging around on the “I’ll get to it eventually” list, this is a pretty easy way to cross it off 🙌🏻🎉 👇🏻 What’s one marketing image you’ve seen lately that made you stop and think, “Damn… that’s different”?
