Should You Outsource It... or Learn It?
One question you can ask yourself regularly is:
👉 Should I outsource this?
Or
👉 Should I improve my skills in this area?
Examples:
• Outsource video editing or become better at editing videos
• Outsource social media management or improve your social media skills
• Outsource bookkeeping or improve your financial management skills
There isn't always a right answer.
Both paths can work.
Personally, I'm a huge believer in skill development.
The more you understand a skill, the better decisions you can make—even if you eventually hire someone else to do it.
That's one of the reasons I enjoy communities on Skool.
There are so many opportunities to learn from people who have already done what you're trying to accomplish.
If you decide to improve the skill yourself...
Don't try to figure it all out alone.
Find someone who has experience.
A mentor can help you avoid mistakes, accelerate your learning, and provide accountability along the way.
Inside the DBR Bookkeeping community, that's one of the things we focus on.
Not just doing bookkeeping for business owners, but helping them better understand their finances so they can make smarter business decisions.
Do you prefer to OUTSOURCE or LEARN THE SKILLS?
Let's keep Doing Business Right!

I prefer to learn the skills myself
I prefer to find ways to outsource tasks
I do a little of both
