If you touch a baby animal, the mother will abandon them.
Truth: Mothers don’t abandon their babies because they "smell bad". If they did, none of us would be here reading this post right now. 😂
Mothering is driven by instinct, bonding, and survival, not a light human scent. That said, not every baby needs to be picked up, but fear of scent isn’t the reason to leave them alone if they actually need help.
