Then, of course, I realized I’d forgotten the waste yarn cast-off — too late to fix it! I carried on, pretending it was all part of the plan. As I mentioned in my 1st project post, I have bags of yarn. Many are unlabeled. So, I think, best used for practice projects like these. The dark color on the scarf is soft and the light color is not so soft. I had a lot of issues with the light color on the machine and needle 29 kept getting stuck under its stitch that I had to help it out quite a bit. I did many repairs along the way with the light color but had enough and stopped at 180 rows. It was close to finishing the light color anyway. I forgot to finish with waste yarn. By the time I remembered I'd already cranked that first cast off row. I decided to complete that process and pretend it was intended 😂. I used contrast color to pick up the stitches off the machine. I had to do some drop stitch repairs during cast off as some stitches were not right.
