- When my Addi 22 arrived (Amazon purchase), I questioned if it was truly "new" as ordered. But was so excited to start, I ignored that thought.
- Long story shortened, I noticed a cranking "resistance" at a certain location, but thought it was just "it" being "broke" in. Then I noticed a broken needle.
Took A22 apart, replaced the needle, and spent 3 days 🙄 trying to put it back together. Watched numerous YouTubes, read numerous pamphlets and discussions, spoke very sweetly to it, then spoke not so sweetly to it 😡.
- I learned (perhaps) my A22 machine wasn't "new" based on what the distressed "red" circular part looked like inside.
- There are numbers on the "red" circular part which aligns with the needles on your machine, 1-22.
- It was our 45th anniversary weekend and after watching me for 3 days, hubby said get yourself a "new" machine, please 😆, which came yesterday.
- Still determined to make the first A22 work, I ordered a new red part to hopefully fix it and have a 2nd machine.
- Good News, I learned much about my A22 while doing its reconstructive procedure 😆.
