Let’s kick off January with something fun — and a little friendly competition!
I’m running a January Referral Contest, and the prize is a Caydo Automatic I-Cord Maker 🎁🧶
This is a great way to help grow our community and reward you for sharing something you already love.
🗳️ How the Contest Works
• Every time someone joins the community using your personal referral link, you earn ONE ballot in the draw.
• To find your referral link:👉 Go to the Home page👉 Click the Invite People button👉 Copy your personal link and share it
• The contest runs from today until my Birthday Jan 29th at 7:00am EST(New York / Toronto time)
• The winner will be drawn live during Kim’s Birthday Crafting Hour later that day 🎂🧶
⚠️ Important: For the draw to take place, we must reach a total of 100 referrals across the community.(This keeps it fun and fair for everyone!)
💡 Great Places to Share Your Link (Without Spamming)
Here are some smart, respectful ways to share your referral link:
• Facebook groups where beginners are asking for lessons or help
• Posts where someone is looking for free patterns
• Hand knitters who are curious about machines because they’re faster and easier on the hands
• YouTube comments where someone is asking how to get started or solve a problem
• A Facebook post on your own page sharing that you’re learning Circular Machine Knitting
• Friends or family members who love crafting and might want to try something new
• Crafty friends who feel overwhelmed and could use free beginner lessons and support
New idea (one of the best ones):
• Make a short video of you using your machine — show what you’re working on, share why you love circular machine knitting, and invite people to join the free community using your link
Other respectful options:
• Add your link to your Facebook bio temporarily
• Share it in a reply when someone asks for resources
• Mention it naturally when someone asks how you learned or where you get help
The goal is always to help first, not to push.
🚦 Very Important Rules (Please Read)
To protect you, this community, and our reputation:
• Always follow Facebook group rules when posting links
• Do NOT DM members of other groups unless it is clearly allowed
• If someone has already shared a Skool link on a post, do NOT add yours
• Never argue with admins or push back if a link is removed
• Share with kindness, honesty, and respect — no pressure tactics
If admins get annoyed, entire communities can be banned — and we do not want that.
