April workers meeting charge: ๐ข
Meeting Charge: Post-Resurrection Activation โ Living the Mandate
The advent of Easter is not the conclusion of a religious calendar; it is the ignition of the believerโs purpose. After the stone was rolled away, the disciples were not called to return to their fishing boats, but to be propelled into their destiny. As church workers, our roles must shift from "celebrators of the tomb" to "witnesses of the Life."
1. Transition from Mourning to Mission
In John 20:11-18, Mary Magdalene stood weeping at the empty tomb. She was looking for a dead Savior, but she met a risen Lord. Jesus gave her a specific instruction: "Do not cling to me... go instead to my brothers and tell them."
๐งโโ๏ธ- Salient Point: Spiritual activation requires us to stop "clinging" to past traditions or the comfort of the sanctuary and start "going." The post-Easter role of a worker is to be a messenger of the reality of the Resurrection. We must move from the emotion of the cross to the motion of the Great Commission.
2. Re-Igniting the Burn (The Emmaus Experience)
In Luke 24:13-35, two disciples walked toward Emmaus, discouraged and confused. When Jesus opened the Scriptures to them, they later remarked, "Did not our hearts burn within us while he talked with us on the road?"
๐งโโ๏ธ- Salient Point: A worker without a "burning heart" is merely a functionary. After Easter, we must seek a fresh encounter with the Word. Spiritual activation happens when our revelation of Christ moves from our heads to our hearts, turning cold duty into fiery passion. If your service has become routine, ask for the "Emmaus Fire."
3. Reclaiming the Backslidden (The Restoration of Peter)
In John 21, Peter, perhaps feeling he had failed too greatly, went back to fishing. Jesus met him at the shore, restored him, and gave him a three-fold command: "Feed my lambs."
๐งโโ๏ธ- Salient Point: The post-Easter season is a time for pastoral vigilance. Many "seasonal" Christians attend Easter and then drift away. Our role as workers is to "feed the sheep"โto follow up, to restore the weary, and to ensure that the harvest of Easter is not lost in the weeks that follow.
4. Waiting for the Power (The Upper Room Strategy)๐๐พโโ๏ธ
In Acts 1:4-8, Jesus commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem but to wait for the Promise of the Father. He made it clear: you cannot be a witness without power.
๐งโโ๏ธ- Salient Point: Activity without the Anointing is vanity. As we serve through the rest of April, we must remain in a state of "Upper Room" expectancy. We are activated not by our skills, but by the Holy Spirit.
Prayer Points for the Rest of April
1. Prayer for Spiritual Sensitivity and Vision
๐- โThat the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.โ (Ephesians 1:17)
๐- Prayer: Lord, open my eyes to see the opportunities for ministry around me. Remove every spiritual cataract that hinders me from seeing the harvest fields of this month.
2. Prayer for Boldness in Witnessing๐ข
๐- โAnd now, Lord... grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word.โ (Acts 4:29)
๐- Prayer: Father, by the power of the Resurrection, take away the spirit of fear and shame. Give me the boldness to share the Gospel and testify of Your power in my workplace, neighborhood, and church.
3. Prayer for Divine Strength and Endurance๐ข
๐- โBut they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.โ (Isaiah 40:31)
๐- Prayer: Every spirit of weariness and "post-event" burnout, be broken! I receive fresh strength to finish the month of April strong in my service and personal walk with God.
4. Prayer for Manifestation of Signs and Wonders
๐- โAnd they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.โ (Mark 16:20)
๐- Prayer: Lord, as I serve this month, let my life and my department be a theater of Your power. Confirm the Word of the Resurrection with tangible testimonies and miracles in our midst.
5. Prayer for Preservation of the Easter Harvest๐ข
๐- โI have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.โ (1 Corinthians 3:6)
๐- Prayer: Father, we commit everyone who visited or gave their lives during Easter into Your hands. Let none be lost. Give us the grace to water and nurture them until they are established in the faith.
