Hey ya’ll. I have a prayer request.
I had a client come in today and he’s a recovering addict. He just started working again, and he’s trying to get his life together, and so he’s no longer eligible for Medicaid as he is over income. But he’s in desperate need of medical treatment as he suffers with severe depression. I feel so bad because there’s nothing I can do to help. He’s scared and feels as though trying is too much and maybe he should just go back to drugs. I tried telling him that i know it’s hard right now but one day you’ll be so thankful for trying to be better. But this happens to so many recovering addicts. My stepmom and stepbrother were/are addicts and it completely tore my family apart and still is. I feel so bad for my client but the only thing I can offer him is prayer. His name is Jacob.
