Quick marketing shift that applies to everyone in here — digital creators, service providers, and my physical product builders too. Your product already has value. Period. Your candles, your shirts, your tumblers, your baked goods — that’s real craftsmanship. That’s skill. But when you create something valuable around your expertise, you elevate your brand beyond just the product.
If you make shirts, maybe you create a beginner Cricut guide or a “how to start making custom tees” mini resource. If you pour candles, maybe you create a scent layering breakdown or a “how to start your own candle line” quickstart. If you bake, maybe you create a hosting dessert planner or portion guide.
Notice the shift? You’re not replacing your product. You’re showcasing your knowledge. And knowledge builds authority.
Free posts get scrolled past. Valuable resources get saved and revisited. When people learn from you, trust you, and see your depth — buying from you feels natural. Sometimes they buy the product. Sometimes they buy the expertise. Either way, you win.
That’s how you move from “I sell things” to “I run a brand.” So even if today you just outline your Valuable Thing, name it, or draft the first section… you’re building leverage.
