Webinar/Live Event Record 12 hours 22 minutes
I went live in my community for 12 hours and 22 minutes today. We started at 9CST and ended just now at 9:24PM CST. Not a single bathroom break. I did bring on guest speakers to help but we had the call open/recording continuously!
Also, the recording call feature works amazingly well. After each speaker I was able to download their recording and upload it directly to SKOOL. Instead of having to do this 10+ times after the event, I was able to do it all by myself while still running the event. Flawless.
We also collected close to $42k in revenue from this event too ๐Ÿ˜€ thanks team! @Sam Ovens @Goose Dunlavey and SKOOL Team!
Few tips/suggestions for people who want to do the same thing.
Definitely make it a webinar and not a call if you have a group of 30+ or more I would say.
In promoting the event, make all your speakers join your group and create an affiliate link.
I donโ€™t trust my affiliates/speakers to create emails. So grab their affiliate link from them and use AI to create emails for them.
Tell them what to say, when to say it.
Make all your speakers admins so they can have unmute/video/screen share permissions. I didnโ€™t realize this until I started the event- now you donโ€™t need to make the same mistake.
Set Google Calendar placeholders for your event to your email list using Zappier. This helps with show rate.
Make the process smooth for your guests, many arenโ€™t used to using SKOOL (yet)
Try to use/create as many inside jokes as possible that only those in the KNOW, know. Those who donโ€™t will feel like theyโ€™re missing out on something and want to continue learning/listening.
Thatโ€™s it for now โœŒ๏ธ
