I started to write a post…
But I didn’t have any Internet. No cellular service. I had no way to upload my Wise words. So here I am after the fact, thinking about everybody’s weekend and how you combined your priorities.
Do you step away for the entire three day weekend? (if not this weekend, pick any long weekend…) do you combine family partner, and work and find a balance?
Does your partner agree with how you split your time?
It can be really difficult to balance your desire for growth and focus with familial obligations or events that are happening around you.
Pressure to stay focused and not lose momentum can be hard to balance with your desire to step back and spend time with those around you.
Three days seems like a long time doesn’t it? It feels like you’ll drop the ball, like everyone will forget you exist, like you’re letting your community down. I struggled with this this weekend. And I know the part of it was because of my lack of cellular service or Internet access, but part of it was just wanting to enjoy spending time with Billy without worrying about how I am moving the needle or staying connected.
I’d love to hear from you about how you spend your time and balance your responsibilities. What’s one thing that you find valuable at times like this?
