Why this group?
First of all — why should you trust me?
I started cycling at 12 and worked my way up to winning the UK Junior National Series and the Junior Tour of Ireland.
After a serious concussion, I spent four years out of the sport. When I came back, I went from a full-time job to riding at Pro Tour level with Polti Visit-Malta in 15 months.
That didn’t happen because I trained “perfectly”.
It happened because I learned (the hard way) what actually matters in performance — and what wastes years of progress.
Most riders don’t fail because they’re not motivated. They fail because they repeat the same avoidable mistakes in training, recovery, nutrition, pacing, and decision-making — without realising it.
I’ve made most of them.
Over time I’ve learned from experience, from pro riders, coaches, and sports nutritionists, and from rebuilding myself from the ground up.
This group exists to shortcut that learning curve.
If you want to improve your cycling performance, this is where you ask.
Training structure, racing, nutrition, recovery, mindset, or anything blocking your progress — ask it here.
I’ll reply where I can, and keep it practical.
No gatekeeping. No over-complication. Just performance-focused answers.
And yes, it’s completely free.
