ATMOSPHERE: FOG, HAZE, AND DEPTH
Atmosphere is the secret weapon of realism.
Air exists between the camera and the subject.
The farther something is, the more atmosphere it has.
That means:
Less contrast.
Less detail.
More softness.
More haze.
When you add atmosphere correctly, your layers glue together.
It also creates mood.
Fog is not just an effect.
Fog is depth.
