This spanning-tree topology is completely messed up.
Your tasks:
1️⃣ Ensure SW1 is the root bridge for VLAN 1.
2️⃣ Ensure SW2 is the root bridge for VLAN 2.
3️⃣ Investigate why interface F0/1 on SW4 is in the BLK (blocking) state and fix it so that VLAN 2 traffic uses this link to reach SW2 directly.
4️⃣ Fix the issue where SW1 isn’t sending traffic over F0/3, even though it’s connected to SW2 and up.
✅ Once everything is fixed, post screenshots in the comments showing:
- SW1 as the root bridge for VLAN 1
- Interface F0/1 on SW4 as the root port for VLAN 2
- The link between SW1 and SW2 being used (visible in the STP port states for both VLANs)
Let’s see who can restore a stable spanning-tree topology first ⚙️💪
