The From Care to Career School Community is dedicated to helping students turn compassion into professional purpose. It’s a space where aspiring caregivers, healthcare workers, and service professionals learn to lead with empathy, skill, and heart.
Johnny Mitchell, author of From Care to Career: My Journey as a CNA and Beyond, is a Certified Nursing Assistant and future funeral director whose journey reflects perseverance, growth, and purpose. After overcoming personal challenges and finding his path in caregiving, Johnny built a career rooted in dignity, empathy, and service — values that also guide his passion for funeral directing.
Through the From Care to Career community, Johnny helps students discover how caregiving can be a foundation for lifelong service, leadership, and professional success. The program empowers members to embrace both compassion and career advancement — transforming everyday care into meaningful impact.
