It’s being the calm in someone else’s storm.
Being a carer means choosing kindness, even when you’re tired.
It means being patient when things don’t go to plan.
It means understanding that dignity matters.
And it means walking away knowing you made even a small part of someone’s day better.
To every carer out there — paid, unpaid, exhausted, emotional, proud —
