Welcome to the heart of capoeira for all Raca E Movimento Schools, where the rhythms of Brazil meet the spirit of the Caribbean. Raca is more than just a martial art - it's a celebration of culture, community, and personal transformation.
Our Story
Raça em Movimento is a capoeira movement dedicated to preserving the culture, discipline, and philosophy of this Afro-Brazilian art while allowing it to grow through community around the world.
Under the leadership of Efraim Silva, Raça em Movimento brings together a network of schools, instructors, and students who share the same foundation, values, and lineage. While many groups developed their own identities over time, they are all part of the same family connected through the movement of capoeira.
This community exists to unify that family.
Through shared training, music, knowledge, and dialogue, the Raça em Movimento network strengthens the connection between schools while creating a clear path for future branches to grow under the same banner.
Whether you train in an established academy or are helping build a new one, this space is our digital roda, where teachers, students, and future mestres come together to learn, exchange, and continue the movement forward.
