For myself, a bit about me and how I got here: For me I would want to learn how to buy businesses. My journey started when I was in the process of looking to buy a business for my wife. I looked on public business for sale marketplaces and it was a tiring process. Mainly because I felt like all the good businesses were already picked through. Some businesses were listed by Brokers, but working with a Broker was very hindering for me personally. NDAs, slow back and forth, and even upright rejection to speak to the business owner - likely due to my interest in seller financing, which would mean reduced commission. After doing some research, and realized there's limited options on buying or selling a business I decided to create my own business-for-sale marketplace; I created BizRetire and this community. I want to make buying and selling businesses easier, quicker, and cheaper. I created this community to make learning how to buy and sell businesses more accessible to all. For Fun: I love gardening - more specifically food forestry. I live in Phoenix AZ, and it's very hot! I love growing hard to grow plants like banana, mango, guava etc. in the desert.
