In the meantime, here are this week’s grant opportunities. I’ve focused on programs that are open now, have no application fee, and can benefit both for-profit businesses and nonprofits.
For‑Profit Grants
1. Breva Thrive Grant
  • Grant Amount: $5,000
  • Due Date: January 31, 2026 (Q1 applications open Jan 1–Jan 31)

  • Why Apply: The Breva Thrive Grant awards $5,000 quarterly to U.S.-based small businesses that are making a positive impact in their communities. Q1 applications are open now through Jan 31 .

  • Grant Amount: $20,000
  • Due Date: February 14, 2026 (Phase 3 deadline)

  • Why Apply: Nominate a small business demonstrating courage, perseverance, and integrity. Each phase of the program awards $20,000 to three businesses . Businesses must have operated for at least one year and employ under 100 people .
Nonprofit Grants
1. Ameriprise Financial Community Grants
  • Grant Amount: Varies (Ameriprise funds programs aligned with hunger relief, volunteerism, and disaster relief)
  • Due Date: January 15, 2026 (next grant cycle)

  • Why Apply: Ameriprise accepts grant applications twice a year (Nov 15–Jan 15 and Mar 15–May 15). The program prioritizes 501(c)(3) nonprofits where employees volunteer or that address community needs .

  • Why Apply: These grants fund community‑based programs improving health, wellness, and education for people with Parkinson’s. Applications are due Jan 30 and funding ranges from $10,000 to $25,000 .
