Weird and sometimes gross things I see because of my cleaning business…
You may not know (because I don’t talk about it much) but I have a cleaning business, it’s run completely offline so I don’t post about it on my socials, when I do mention it I refer to it as “the day job” because it requires me to leave the house & go to work 😹
Anyway here’s some random stuff thats happened over the last few months at just one of the guest houses I clean:
Somebody has stolen all the plates, bowls and cups. Not a fancy set, mismatched random stuff and they took almost everything.
Somebody used the bin as a toilet because the en suite bathroom was just too far away.
Somebody pooped in the shower which is next to the toilet.
Somebody used a pan to fill the dryer with hot water and then complained that their clothes weren’t washing and were stained by the washing powder.
Somebody threw up in the bed and then remade it and left.
What’s the point of this story?
Running a business isn’t always glamorous, doesn’t have to involve online launches, social media or scale to make a million a month.
