False myth - Bunnies in cages
Go to a petstore buy a bunny (which in fact you shouldn't, always adopt don't shop), what do they sell with the bunny? Right a cage!
Rent an apartment, the landord asks... the bunny does live in a cage I hope?!
Rescue a bunny and tell people, my bunny is litter trained and lives free roam in the home, even listens to his name! People are stunned, often don't even believe you or ask you tons of questions or think you are a crazy bunparent who overreacts on bunkeeping.
But in fact this is how you properly take care of a bunny!
The right space per one bunny is 2.qm2 equals 20.sqft
Most people even letting their bunny 100% freeroam.
Because bunnies need space!
They can get severe physical health problems or in worst cases get depressed and die from being kept in a cage also a hutch!
Watch video here from my bunny Falco who had a cage but instead of being in the cage he preferred to flop (which is a sign of feeling happy and comfortable) in his tepee (freeroam)
