From “Hello?” to Hooked
One of my favorite clients is a landscaper. English is his second language. First week when he answered a lead call, he literally said “Hello?” — and that was if he picked up at all.
He had someone build him a website and a logo.
Looked cool until it all went south.
No access.
No ownership.
No results.
But his work? 🔥
Master-level landscaping. Beautiful installs. Total pro.
Problem was, he was relying on word of mouth. He was the only English speaker on a crew of five or six guys.
So we focused on quick wins.
Got his Local Ads dialed in.
Calls started coming in.
Now if he doesn’t get a call in a few days, he’s texting me like “Yo, what’s going on?”
He’s hooked. Because now the phone rings. The jobs book. The business grows.
This is what happens when you stop waiting and start building.
