I built a tool that plans your PTO around Islamic holidays so you get the most time off for the fewest days booked
Every year I'd sit with a calendar trying to work out the smartest way to spend my PTO. Say Eid lands on a Tuesday, with the right 3 days booked around it you can turn it into 9 days off in a row. Do that across both Eids plus the public holidays scattered through the year and suddenly your leave stretches twice as far, but only if you plan the whole year at once instead of booking reactively.
I got tired of doing this manually so I built Ijazah. You tell it your holidays and leave allowance, it works out the exact days to book for the maximum total time off with the fewest days used.
It's free to use: ijazah.ihsanhub.io
Would love feedback from the community, especially those of you in non-Muslim countries where every day off counts. What's the trickiest year you've had to plan leave around?
