A Deaf-led community designed to help you build confidence and develop your British Sign Language skills between your Level 1 - 2 classes.
Inside the community you can:
✅ Practise and refresh your BSL Level 1 - 2 skills
✅ Improve your confidence through regular signing opportunities
✅ Join breakout room practice sessions with other learners
✅ Receive guidance, feedback, explanations and support
✅ Ask questions about vocabulary, placement and Non-Manual Features (NMFs)
✅ Connect and network with learners from across the UK
✅ Access live practice and Q&A sessions (fortnightly or monthly)
✅ Learn in a supportive, fun and relaxed environment
Whether you're currently studying Level 1 - 2 or have recently completed it, BSL Between Classes provides a safe space to keep signing, keep learning, and continue progressing on your BSL journey.
Founded by a Deaf BSL tutor, BSL Between Classes was created to give learners a place to practise and grow in confidence outside the classroom.

Hello everyone.
I just wanted to drop a little note to Andie and say a massive thank you for his support whilst learning BSL level 1.
I have joined the zoom classes which I have found very useful to be able to practice signing without being under pressure in a classroom or exam.
I would recommend everyone to have ago even if you are not in the North West as its good to know other signs.
Hope to see some of you on Zoom.
