SEO Importance of my website vs my course on the subdomain.

I have a website with my landing page built into it. If someone wants to see my first (and only one so far) course they hit the link to my sales page and course which are on a subdomain on Thinkific. My website scores much higher at 85% versus 60% for the Thinkific subdomain. I am thinking that the most important one to get right is the website. Is that correct? Does the lower rating on the Thinkific site take away from my website? I am curious to see if I am right.
