Do you need 10,000 hours to be a pro in music be it writing, singing or production?
As an artist some times we want to achieve that massive success immediately but we always forget to excel in something like music that is meant to last a lifetime needs time, endurance, and patience. Someone said you need to invest about 10000 hours(10k hours) in anything to start getting to the pro level. But mind you there are short cuts that can reduce that time down no doubt. But I believe you still need to invest time or money to achieve that excellence that would get you above the noise. I can honestly see how far I have come as an artist and how much improved my music, recording, voice control, promotion knowledge, and all round branding ideas have been shaped after so many videos, reading and learning on and offline. Just a matter of time before all this work pays off. Stay patient, stay hungry, and always keep learning.
