I've been kind of dormant on here since joining. So first of all hello to all of you. I'm Adam. Currently I'm a freelance SEO ghostwriter with an interest in getting into the tech field. I'm planning to go into IT helpdesk before moving on up. I love tech and do have some troubleshooting skills under my belt. Anyways, I was scrolling through X (or Twitter if you still prefer to call it that) and read about someone who worked in IT. I've attached the screenshot for reference. I'd love to get into tech and I do know how to use AI to an extent (forgive me if I come off as bragging about that). But seriously...are things really this bad? I'm hearing all kinds of noise and while I try to ignore it I get a bit confused by what's going on. Thanks

Hello everybody, good to meet you all. Im a CS student in Romania and I found this community through tiktok. I have one goal in mind atm: get a full ride scholarship for my masters degree in cybersecurity in the Erasmus programme named Cybersure. To achieve this, I need a strong portfolio and CV. I have made a little roadmap for myself: -Security+ and Network+ certification -7-10 cybersec related projects and maybe a homelab -ctf and bug hunting expertise -a cyber related internship this summer -at least 2 letters of recommendation from professors The thing is i need to do all this in less than a year, so it will be an interesting journey. I also need to specify that I dont really have any cybersecurity experience besides the basic stuff learn from uni or my nerdy pleasures:)) Side note: I do have some other projects and also Im working on a startup with two of my friends Im glad I found this community and I hope to connect with as many likeminded people as possible and share my journey with you all. Hello everyone, New here and new to cybersecurity. Came across this group through TikTok and thought I needed this for some guidance as it's the first cybersecurity group I've come across. I'm studying cybersecurity and Cyber forensics in Oman (near the UAE) and would one day love to move to the US. I'm starting out with some basics learning on my own and looking at the pathways and what certs, projects etc... I need to do here. Hopefully I can get some experience here in the local companies.
