Today we are talking about certifications, skills, and the receipts you collected before you knew exactly what to do with them.
I got my MCP certification in December 2025, one of, I'm working on a couple more.
Not because it was trendy or a guru told me to, but because I knew if I was going to take myself seriously in 2026, I had to start setting the chess board in Formation.
Sometimes you learn something before the market catches up, you study the thing before everybody starts naming it and hyping it up the certificate sits quietly until the right moment shows up and says you got it use it. That's where I am right now. Fast forward to May 2026, and the play is MCP, context, agents, tools, workflows, systems that talk to each other. The certificate was not random, it was formation.
