Yesterday I Had to visit my orthopedic surgeon for post op on my knee and when I got into the elevator, the woman next to me-though my back was facing her-said “welcome back, Mr. Asumendi.” I didn’t immediately recognize her but she said”I know it was you because no other man smells as good as you do.” I was wearing MFK Baccarat Rouge 540 but in the several years I’ve been a patient there I’ve worn different fragrances. An alternative/twist to Marc-Antoine Barrois Ganymede. I only have Ganymede Extrait, but Masa gets closer to that DNA at the dry down. The opening hits with a soft, fruity, and floral aroma. After a couple of minutes the spicy, citrusy, sweet, and leathery nuances start to blend in making the aroma more noticeable but alluring and inoffensive. As it dries down, it turns to a more herbal, sweet, and mineral aroma. This is a beautiful, very refined, sophisticated, addictive, and compliments getter scent. A whole year round, any occasion appropriate, with great projection and longevity.
