Toy Boy is a weird fragrance to say the least.
First, I want to say that I blind bought this one, and was flabbergasted by how accurate the scent profile is.
On fragrantica + reviews on multiple platforms, it's said to smell like roses, pear and pepper.
Besides those 3 prominent notes, it has an underlying woody, warm spicy, and even a slight citrus base supporting it.
But if I had to simplify the scent into a sentence, it would look like this:
- A super strong (almost overbearing) peppery rose, which smooths out into a lovely smoky flower next to a cedar wooden table. -
Overall, you have to be open minded for this one + patient enough to let it dry down (30min+-) into the artpiece it is.
In my opinion, you could put this in an Amouage bottle, and people wouldn't bat an eye.
It's a strong 7.2/10 for me.
