We are mid-week of the first full week in the new year!
How are you really doing with the goals you set for yourself? Not the social media version, but the honest one. If you already feel behind, breathe. You’re not late. You’re learning. The year didn’t come with a stopwatch, and God is not rushing you. One day at a time is still progress.
A gentle reminder as you move forward: big goals don’t have to be tackled all at once. One of the easiest ways to stay consistent without feeling overwhelmed is to break your goals down by quarter. Instead of trying to “fix everything” in January, ask yourself what your focus is for the next three months. What’s one area you want to strengthen? One habit you want to build? One step you can take that actually fits into your real life right now. When the quarter ends, you reassess, adjust, and move forward again. Small, intentional steps add up faster than rushed ones.
Give yourself permission to grow steadily. Faith doesn’t mean forcing the outcome. It means trusting God while still doing your part with wisdom, patience, and consistency. You don’t have to see the whole year clearly to walk faithfully into today.
“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” - Proverbs 16:3
You’re doing better than you think. Stay present. Stay faithful. Keep going.
