A saved file, when re-opened, is different than when I saved it.

Hi all.

Has anyone experienced opening a saved Blender file, to find that it is different than the saved version?

I have animated a rolling dice which lands, close up in the center of the camera view, on the number 6. When I open the saved Blender file again the dice lands on number 4 and is out of shot???

I'm probably doing something wrong, or have something set wrong, but every time I re open a saved Blender file, after spending ages getting it just how I want, it's different than how it was when I saved it.

It's really frustrating.

Any ideas.
