🎓 Somnium Space Academy SEASON 2 Applications are OPEN 👀
Applications for the next Somnium Space Academy are now open.
Somnium Academy is a structured 8-week learning program designed to help creators build real skills and create functional, optimized content inside Somnium Space, alongside a group of motivated creators.
🔧 Program overview
• Duration: 2 months (8 weeks)
• 32 hands-on modules
• ~48 hours of guided learning
• Strong focus on practice
Topics covered:
• Unity setup
• Blender modeling
• Lighting
• Scripting (C#)
• Interactions & gameplay logic
• Optimization
• Shaders
• Audio systems
• Networking
Each module is taught by an experienced Somnium creator and focuses on practical application, not theory only.
🎯 What you’ll get
• Work on real projects
• Build a solid production workflow
• Learn how to publish interactive worlds inside Somnium Space
🟢 Who can apply
• You don’t need to be an expert
• Motivation, consistency, and willingness to learn matter as much as experience
• English required (classes & communication are in English)
💸 Program & commitment
• The program is free
• A real commitment is expected:
→ creating content for Somnium Space
(worlds, assets, wearables, experiences)
🎁 Completion reward
→ Students who successfully complete the full program receive $100
