🧣 Stitching Hope: Handmade Warmth for Those in Transition
When a stitch comes from the heart, it carries comfort.
This month, our crochet family is coming together to support those impacted by the Homeward Bound closing. Many of our neighbors are facing sudden displacement — and we can help bring warmth and dignity through handmade care.
How to Join:
Crochet a hat, scarf, blanket, or pair of mittens using soft, washable yarn.
Label with love — include a small tag or note that says “You are cared for.”
Drop off or mail donations to Stitches and the Geek 750 Main St, STE 110 Grand Junction, CO, 81501
Yarn donations welcome!
Hoping to donate first bach in two weeks!
Every loop and pull of yarn adds up to something powerful — community. Let’s show that handmade still means heart-made.
What’s one handmade item that always brings you comfort?
Use #CrochetForComfort and tag Stiches and the Geek so we can celebrate your makes and share updates
