Hi everyone! I’m Colotta Bergman, but you can call me 'Pina'—a nickname from my legal days that stuck! I’ve been a legal analyst and researcher since 1989 and am a proud Hofstra Law alumna. Originally from Queens, I now live in Atlanta with my husband of 20 years.

I may not write books, but I certainly devour them. I’ve been a dedicated book lover since high school, and my time working in a college library only deepened my love for the physical craft of books. I’m a logophile and a mood reader who never goes anywhere without something to read. Being a lifelong 'legal eagle,' my favorite genre is true crime. I 'm a huge Ann Rule fan and am a huge fan of Kathryn Casey’s investigative work.
