Happy Resurrection Day! ❤️
Glad Day!!!
So full of great emotion,
She travelled to the tomb.
Tears still near the surface,
As she recalled that day of doom.
He had been her everything,
Brought her Hope when all was gone,
Forgiven sins that no one knew,
Gave her a reason to go on!
The awful dreadful sight
Such bitter pain and agony,
In her tears, there was the thought
“It should have been me”
How quickly he was gone,
Only memories left behind.
Could they bury Him with honor?
At his grave what would they find?
Glad Day! The tomb, it was bare.
Truly, His voice she had heard!
Glad Day! He’d Arose as He’d said!
Death & Hell had been conquered!
Glad Day!!!
Though years have gone by
Still we remember that day
Thrilling with joy as we say…
Glad Day! He’s coming again!
We have His promised Word.
Glad Day! We’ll live with Him evermore!
What a great Day is coming!
Glad Day!!!
