Bible question?
Good morning Fellow Brethren, reading in the book of 1 Peter 1 question in verse 11 searching what or what manner of time the spirit of Christ, which was in them did signify when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glory that should follow.
I understand that this is a recount of what God was going to do and did do through Jesus Christ. My question:
Through our suffering here on earth, do we receive glory in heaven because we suffered through the trials of faith and all the other sufferings that we go through. The reason I asked this question is because in the previous verses, it talks about inherited, in corruptible, un defiled, that fadeth not away is reserved in heaven for you. Is this referring to the Crowns the Bible talks about in several different scriptures in the new testament ?
Thanks have a great day. 🥰
