📖 2 Corinthians 12:9
📖 2 Corinthians 12:9 —
“My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.”
Let’s clear something up real quick…
God did not say:
“Get stronger and then I’ll help you.”
“Fix yourself and then I’ll show up.”
“Hold it together so I can use you.”
Nope.
He said GRACE is sufficient.
That word sufficient means enough.
Not barely enough.
Not just enough to survive.
Enough to carry you, cover you, and keep you standing when you feel like you’re folding.
You don’t need to be stronger.
You don’t need to fake being okay.
You don’t need to prove you got this.
Weakness is not a disqualifier… it’s an invitation.
Paul begged God to remove his struggle.
God said, “I’m not taking it… but I am sustaining you through it.”
And that’s the part people don’t like.
Because we want removal.
But God specializes in reinforcement.
Grace steps in when:
• your patience runs out
• your faith feels shaky
• your energy is gone
• your smile is forced
Grace carries what strength can’t.
Grace holds what pride won’t admit.
Grace shows up when all you can say is, “God… I’m tired.”
And hear me clearly, sis:
If grace is sufficient,
then you don’t have to beat yourself up for being human.
God’s power shows up right where you feel the weakest.
Not after you clean it up.
Not after you get it right.
But right there.
So today?
Rest in grace.
Lean into mercy.
And stop demanding strength from yourself when God already supplied grace.
