Power of our words
Proverbs 12:18 NIV The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.
The other day, my boss said, "Wow, you take everything so literally..." and my response was: "If we are the ambassadors of the Kingdom of God on earth, shouldn't we say what we mean and take things literally? If there is power in words, I want to reject the words intended to hurt me and embrace the words that align with God's truth over me. As Christians, shouldn't we refrain from wasting our words? There is no in between; we are either bringing life or death, hurting or healing, building or tearing down.
