“Rulers persecute me without cause, but my heart trembles at your word” - Psalm 119:161
We fear so many things in this world. So many unknowns, uncertainty, chaos, division, and more and more we see evil being so bold and prominent in our days.
But with all the persecution and death threats the psalmist was facing, he trembled at God’s word. The fear of the Lord is something that is not preached often.
But David feared the word of God more than he feared his enemies.
