Foundation matching simplified💄
Stop choosing your foundation before you’ve blended it.
One of the easiest ways to colour match yourself is to start with three shades.
Don’t stress about picking the perfect one straight away. You’re actually trying to eliminate the ones that are obviously wrong.
If one is too light, too dark or the undertone is off, wipe it away.
Now here’s the important part… don’t decide based on the stripe.
The ‘blend’ is what really counts. Use a foundation brush or a sponge to work down the closest match into your jawline and slightly onto your neck.
Foundation always looks different once it’s blended.
The right shade won’t jump out at you. It should almost disappear and flow naturally into the rest of your skin.
That’s how you know you’ve found your match.👌🏼
