About me… 💄
I’m Tracey Dunell, a Brisbane-based makeup artist, educator, and creative with over 21 years of experience in the beauty industry. Born in Sydney to Argentinian migrant parents and raised between Sydney and Townsville, my upbringing shaped my strong values, work ethic, and deep appreciation for culture, connection, and resilience. I’m proudly bilingual in Spanish and forever connected to my roots.
My journey into makeup began in my late teens and led me to study at the Napoleon Perdis Academy, where I later spent 15 years building an extraordinary career. From trainer and educator to Global Makeup Artist for Queensland, I had the privilege of working across Australia, New Zealand, New York Fashion Week, campaigns, photoshoots, and fashion shows. Teaching and artistry have always been at the core of my work.
After my time with NP, I continued my path with Mecca as a colour specialist, while also working as a qualified cosmetic tattooist. I’m passionate about enhancing natural beauty, educating others, and creating confidence through makeup and brows.
Life experiences have taught me the importance of living fully, valuing time, and choosing growth. While makeup will always be part of who I am, I’ve also embraced new opportunities that offer greater freedom, flexibility, and balance for my family and future. I’m driven by self-belief, integrity, and a genuine desire to help others expand what’s possible for their lives.
