Autistic Unmasking
My whole life I was told I was “too blunt”. Sometimes, I’m “too sensitive”. Always being told I’m “too emotional”.
But, you know what? - They're right.
I’m too self aware of my people pleasing habits now to continue to allow myself to shrink my feelings and boundaries, just so other people can be comfortable.
There’s a thin line between being aggressive and assertive. I walk the line.
It makes ZERO sense to quietly continue to allow someone to try and humble, humiliate, or humor, YOU.
Each time you choose to tolerate disrespect you go against your humanity.
Never give someone the opportunity to reluctantly respond to you.
This Skool is here to teach you how Kay (myself) responds to shade and classless attitudes in daily life.
If you’re an adult, young or old, and recently found out you’re autistic, I believe I can help us all unmask. However that may look for each person.
