Wise Withdrawal Workaround (If PayPal Fees Are Hurting You Like They Were Me)
Alright.
If your only withdrawal option inside Momentum Tech is PayPal…and you’re in Australia like me…you already know the fees are CRAZY.
So here’s what I’m personally doing using Wise.
It’s a temporary workaround until the e-wallet rolls out.
Here’s how:
  1. Go into your Momentum Tech back office
  2. Click Profile
  3. Click Payment Config
  4. Where your PayPal email is — change it to something like: bank@bank.com (If it won’t accept that, try something like bank1@bank.com)
This flags the system.
Then:
• Make sure you’ve added USD currency inside your Wise account
• Request your withdrawal as normal using the PayPal option
• Immediately email support at support@momentumtech.ai
In that email, include:
– That you just submitted a withdrawal
– Your USD bank details from Wise
James has confirmed that when the PayPal email is changed like this, it flags for review and they’ll check for your bank details.
It’s not perfect.
It’s just a smarter way to avoid losing unnecessary money to fees while we wait for the official e-wallet.
I’m always looking for simple ways to keep more of what we earn.
