Imagine the second half of the year, generating TWICE as much revenue as the first half. If you've never had that kind of rocket-fueled growth before - I want you to start thinking differently, because it IS possible. Generating more revenue through DIY marketing can be a cost-effective approach for small businesses. Here are five ways you can achieve this: 1. Social Media Engagement: Utilize social media platforms to engage with your target audience. Create compelling content, such as images, videos, and blog posts, that resonates with your customers. Encourage followers to share your content and participate in discussions. Engaging with customers directly can help build brand loyalty and generate leads. 2. I was with a high-impact group of men just this morning, and the leader shared a story he recently heard at his church I wanted to share. Dr. Tony Evans, a renowned preacher, was at the mall with his grandson when his grandson approached the escalator that was going down and started walking up the escalator. We've all done that before or seen it, but here's the analogy that will make a more significant impact. All you have to do is stay still (do nothing) and it will carry you down. Our society and culture are the escalators going down. If you’re not moving and accelerating this world will pull you down. This relates to everything in life - but think about this with marketing for a second. If you get frustrated, burnt out, give up, or do nothing, it's not going to improve your sales, your life, or your vision. Marketing is just an experiment, and we're not always going to get the results we want. If something isn't working, then analyze the audience, the message and the offer, fine tune, then try again. Marketing is hard. But we do hard things to get better, and to achieve our goals. Action: Take an uncomfortable marketing step today. Send an email campaign, send a text campaign, or maybe launch Facebook ad. What are you going to do?
⚾️ It's GAMETIME! The middle of the year is upon us... As entrepreneurs, we must decide how we will take on the 2nd half of the year. Which camp do you fall in? (vote below) (PS: I'll post some insights in the comments after we have some votes)
Can you believe we're almost halfway through 2023? Have you looked back yet at your annual goals to see how you're tracking? 😖 That can be exciting OR painful. Here's a quick way to give yourself a mid-year business booster. 1. ✅ Write down where you're at NOW and where you WANT TO BE at the end of the year. (💰Revenue) 2. ✅ Take the difference and divide that number by 6 3. ✅ Write down how many clients or jobs you need per MONTH to hit that goal 4. ✅ Write down how many clients or jobs you need per WEEK to hit that goal 5. ✅ Multiply that number by 5 Fictitious Example: 1. ✅ Currently at $250k and want to get to $500k 2. ✅ ($250k is the difference between where I am and where I want to be) Divided by 6 = $41,667 3. ✅ 20 jobs per month (if my average sale was $2,083) 4. ✅ 5 jobs per week 5. ✅ 5 x 5 = 25 🎯The goal in this example, should be talking to 25 leads a week, getting to 5 jobs a week, and closing 20 jobs a month, to hit my end-of-year goal. Now....Prioritize and Execute. The key here is not to focus so much on what you CAN'T control (end-of-the-month money) and focus more on what you can control (setting 25 appointments per week) 👉 Write down in the comments if you have any tactics that have helped YOU quickly boost business revenue! But no one has called you, no one has booked a meeting with you, and no one has reached out. Have you been there?? What's going on??? Well, to be completely honest, it's possible that you've fallen into the trap of thinking that nurturing your leads is the same as selling to them. While it is true that nurturing is an important part of the sales process, it's not a replacement for it. ❗❗Let me repeat that real quick: nurturing your leads…. Does NOT replace your sales process❗❗ Okay, now that we’re on the same page, let's break it down. - Nurturing is all about building a relationship with your potential customers. It's about educating them, providing them with helpful resources, and staying top-of-mind until they're ready to make a buying decision. - Sales, on the other hand, is about closing the deal. It's about identifying your customer's needs, demonstrating how your product or service can meet those needs, and persuading them to take action. ❓So why do people sometimes confuse the two❓ Well, for one thing, nurturing can feel more comfortable than selling. It's a softer approach that doesn't involve as much pressure or rejection. Plus, when you're nurturing, you're not necessarily asking for anything in return. But here's the thing: if you're only nurturing your leads and never actually selling to them, you're not doing your job as a salesperson. Your goal isn't just to have a lot of warm and fuzzy conversations with potential customers - it's to close deals and generate revenue for your company❗ So, how do you strike the right balance between nurturing and selling❓ Here are a few tips: 1️⃣ Be strategic about your nurturing efforts by consistently providing value to your potential customers through a variety of touch points. Remember, it takes an average of 21 touch points for someone to make a purchase decision, so don't be afraid to get creative with how you engage with your audience. From ads and social media posts, to emails, texts, and even physical presence at events, there are many ways to stay top-of-mind. But it's important to be practical about your efforts and ensure that each touch point is providing value to your audience.
