Welcome!

My name is Johnny Clark, and I'm excited you're here.

My wife and I built our barndominium in a few years back near Kingstree SC. Our home consists of approximately 850 square feet of living space inside a tubular metal building, along with over 2,000 square feet of garage and shop space.

Like many people building a barndo, we encountered several unexpected expenses and learned a lot throughout the process. Looking back, there are things I wish I had known before we started. That's one of the main reasons I created this community.

My goal is to bring together people who are dreaming about building a barndo, actively planning, currently building, or already living in one. I want this group to be a place where we can share ideas, ask questions, learn from each other's experiences, and hopefully help each other avoid costly mistakes.

Whether you're looking for land, designing a floor plan, budgeting your project, figuring out financing, or choosing finishes, you're welcome here.
