My Introduction!
Hello I'm Lemko Rusyn! I'm an aspiring animator with almost 40 subscribers on YouTube.
Since I started 2 or 3 months ago with my channel it's mostly been just 3d animations with programs like Blender, and I've averaged a few hundred views on my videos, my top video having 2 thousand views, which I didn't really even think was possible until it happened.
Lately I've been trying to work more on 2d animation lately because I kind of like the charm of 2d countryballs a little better than 3d, so I'd like to explore that a little more. I've already made a few 2d shorts but they're very simple and not very good. So my goal is to get better at that and hopefully get a lot better with my countryballs and hopefully at some point become a pretty popular animator.
Here's my channel if you want to check it out: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaEOHnMofUb9sfpdskEm6Fg
I do have a few questions though. I've looked at the beginner videos and seen that the tutorials are largely for Moho/anime studio, but the issue with that is well, it's really expensive after the 30 day trial. On top of that, I don't use Windows on my desktop, I use Linux, so it doesn't even work fully on my system. I've tried looking at other programs like Opentoonz that do work on Linux and are free, and it seems fairly similar but I want to know if you guys recommend any other programs that I should try and see work with Linux. Thanks!
