So I had a client recently message me that they’ve decided they no longer can work with me because I use AI. Before I go further I want to say they were extremely kind and nice about their approach in bringing it up, so that’s not the issue. They said their main issue with it is the environmental concerns and the way it hurts creatives. They’re still a great person and I still care for them as I do most clients. I talked to them and shared that for me I treat AI as a tool and don’t personally use it much for design ideation. But as a designer in a tech related field, it’s impossible to not get behind it. Why I’m posting is because I honestly feel this person’s take is super ignorant. They literally sent me their concerns via IG from their iPhone, which just led me to get mad because they probably use so much AI without realizing it. I tend to work with clients that care about important issues deeply, but they’re not always fully educated on what they’re choosing to believe. Anyways, I want to be able to have a solid convo with people if this comes up in the future. Thank you for any and all advice.

I’m usually the sick one… but this weekend my boyfriend has a case of serious man-flu (he’s actually really sick -poor darl) Using what I;ve learned about prompts in BiasCamp I’ve turned myself into a fully qualified nurse and god I’m good 😂. I’ve also just now mad e a new self portrait… The power of GPT never ceases to amaze me. I also have it working as a Doctor for my set of complex chronic medical issues, and let me tell you… REAL WORLD doctors need to watch out… because My GptMD actually listens, is validating and knows about ALL my conditions and how things impact me holistically - not just their own silo’ed specialist training. Obviously I’m fact checking the information… but I’m pretty damn impressed!!!!
