I don’t know the “perfect” way to read the Bible.

There are still days I read a chapter and think, What in the world is this saying?

I’m not a biblical scholar. I’m just a man who decided to keep showing up.

For years I would read and feel confused. I’d wait until church hoping someone would explain it, and sometimes that helped… but most of the time I stayed stuck because I wasn’t engaging with it daily.

I open my study Bible every day.
I read a chapter — even if I don’t fully understand it.
Then I slow down and unpack it.
