Day 6- what’s your shitty money story?
Close your eyes. What’s the FIRST thing you remember about money in your house growing up?
The whispered arguments. The “we can’t afford that.” The guilt when you asked for something. Or maybe money just… wasn’t talked about at all. (That silence taught you something too.)
Here’s what nobody tells you: that memory isn’t just a memory. It’s the blueprint. Your brain took that moment, decided what money means dangerous, scarce, shameful, complicated and has been quietly running that program ever since.
Inconsistent income? Undercharging? Feeling weird every time you check your balance? That’s not a money problem. That’s a 6-year-old’s conclusion still making your financial decisions.
You can’t rewrite a story you’ve never read.
📝 YOUR DAY 6 HOMEWORK:
1️⃣ Write down your earliest money memory the scene, who was there, what was said (or not said)
2️⃣ Finish this sentence: “That moment taught me that money is _______”
3️⃣ Ask yourself: where is that exact belief showing up in my life TODAY?
Then drop your money memory in the comments. I’ll go first: 👇
